Biografia
Coordinator of the Master's in Exercise and Health at Instituto Piaget de Almada, where she is also a member of the Pedagogical Council and the Scientific Council of ISEIT-Almada. Assistant Professor in the Bachelor's in Physical Education and Sport at ISEIT-Almada and Guest Professor in the Master's in Physical Activity and Health at the Polytechnic Institute of Beja. Integrated researcher at Insight – Research Center of Instituto Piaget, where she coordinates the Human Movement research group, and a collaborating researcher at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universidad Autónoma de Chile. Holds a Ph.D. and postdoctoral degree from the Faculty of Human Kinetics, University of Lisbon, specializing in Exercise and Health. She coordinates the Stay-Up Fall Prevention Project, collaborates with the PLENO Community Program, and participates in several national and European projects, including EQUISPACE (IPDJ) and Erasmus+Sport initiatives (EUPAG-DS, MY FIT FRIEND). Her research interests focus on aging, health promotion, mental health, and physical activity.
