Biografia

José Manuel de Castro Oliveira has an academic background that began with an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Management followed by a Master’s in Marketing and Strategic Management and a PhD in Business Sciences (Management) from the University of Minho. He is currently pursuing a post doctoral program in Management, with a specialization in environmental studies at the University of Aveiro. Presently serves as Director of the Management School at ISPGAYA and teaches Management at IPCA (Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave) and at Maia University. His main scientific research is in the fields of Social Sciences, Economics, Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Green Economy, Sustainability, and Circular Economy. He is an integrated researcher at the INSIGHT Piaget Research Center and collaborates with the REMIT Research Center at Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique. In the business sector, he is the Chairman of the Board at Electrão, an association dedicated to WEEE management and circular economy.
